After six months, it is very important to have variety in the diet of the child and all the nutrients should be available After six months, the food of the baby should be light and tasty in this we can give the child puree of various fruits After the completion of eight months of the child, we can give Upma in small quantities to our child till one year, after that the child gets used to normal food, baby food plays a very important role in the early physical, mental and intellectual development of the baby

Let’s see what are the recipes for children aged six months old  to one year.

After six months, the development of the baby is very good, along with mother’s milk, the child also needs solid food. After six months, the digestive system of the child is fully developed and ready to digest solid food.

1) Baby Food Recipes – Milk and semolina pudding

Six to one year

Ingredients:-

One spoon of semolina, half cup of water, one cup of milk, you can add a pinch of sugar or jaggery.

Action:-

Take a small pan, put some ghee in that pan and put some semolina in it and fry it well on low flame. – Then add half a cup of water to it. – Cook it on low flame for some time. – After the semolina is cooked well, add some milk to it and boil it. – Add a little jaggery or sugar to it. – Cool the halwa and give it to the child.

2)Baby Food Recipes – Moong dal khichadi

Six months to one year

Ingredients:-

One spoon of rice, two spoons of gram lentils, half a cup of water, a pinch of turmeric, salt according to taste, a pinch of sugar, oil or turmeric, cumin powder.

Action:-

So let’s have a look at moong dal khichadi. Take a pan. Wash one spoon of rice and two spoons of moong dal properly. Then take a small cooker and add some oil, some cumin seeds in that cooker and stir it well. And then add washed rice and lentils. Add water and turmeric in the cooker and cook till three to four whistles. If it is cooked well, then cool it and feed it to the child.

3)Baby Food Recipes – pulse water

Age group:– The next child can be given six months of time.

Ingredients:- One spoon of tur or moong dal, water, a pinch of turmeric, cumin

Procedure::-

So let’s make lentil water. Wash the lentils thoroughly. – Wash the lentils thoroughly and add water to it and cook. – When the lentils are cooked well, separate the water from it. Add a pinch of turmeric and cumin seeds to it and feed it to the child.

4) Baby Food Recipes – Sago Khichdi

sago khichadi is very effective for baby weight gain

Ingredients:-

Two spoons of sago, half a cup of water, a little milk (if mother’s milk or cow’s milk)

Method:- Soak sago well in water for one to two hours. And drain the water and cook sago well. – When the sago khichdi cools down, make a little sweet khichdi by adding milk or jaggery and feed it to the child.

 

5) Baby Food Recipes- Millet peg

-Can be given to the child before ten months.

Ingredients:-

Two spoons of millet flour, one cup of water, a pinch of sugar or jaggery

Process:-

Mix the millet flour well in water and mix it. And then cook it well on low flame. And after that if it is cooked well, then you can add a little jaggery or sugar to it. Make a good page by adding sugar or jaggery.
