Solid starts: 6 month old baby food

1)Baby food- Spinach-pumpkin puree.

  • Remove the spinach stems and soak them in cold water for two minutes. Meanwhile, peel the pumpkin and cut it into small pieces.
  • Rinse both vegetables under water.
  • Boil the pumpkin in a medium-sized pot for about 20 minutes.
  • Boil the spinach leaves in another pot for 5-10 minutes.
  • Rinse both boiled vegetables under cold water for 2-3 minutes to stop the cooking process.
  • Puree the spinach and pumpkin in a mixer until you get a fine paste.
  • Add a little water to it.
  • Add salt to taste, mix and serve it to your baby.
  • You can also add a pinch of cinnamon powder while serving to enhance the flavor of spinach pumpkin puree.

2) Baby food- How to make carrot puree 🥕

 

  • First of all, take 4 to 5 and remove the skin from them.
  •  Now cut the carrot into small pieces. Now take a pot and heat water in it. 
  • When the water starts to boil, add the carrot pieces to it. 
  • Cover the pot and let the carrot pieces cook until they are soft. 

 

  • After 10 to 15 minutes, turn off the gas and remove the lid from the pot.
  •  Then remove the carrot pieces from the water and leave them in a bowl to cool. 
  • Do not throw away the water in which you cooked the house pieces. 
  • Take it out in a bowl too. Put the carrot pieces in a mixer and add the water in which the carrot pieces were cooked as per the requirement. 
  • Now grind the carrots in a mixer and after grinding, take it out in a bowl. This is how your carrot puree is ready.

3)Baby food- How to make potato puree

  •  First of all, take a potato and remove its skin. 
  • Now cut the potato into small pieces. Now take a pot and heat water in it.
  •  When the water starts to boil, add the potato pieces to it.

  • Put the potato pieces in a mixer and add the water in which the potato pieces were cooked as needed. 
  • Now grind the potatoes in a potato mixer and after grinding, take it out in a bowl. This is how your potato puree is ready.
